Greg Young started in the entertainment industry at the age of 14. Through years of hard work and dedication he turned his passion for music, lighting and special events into a lifelong dream. Subscribing to a philosophy known as Entertainment Redefined, Greg has had the privilege of helping thousands of people celebrate life’s most memorable moments. Offering a variety of technology driven solutions, his main goal is to provide you with one company for all of your entertainment needs. We hired Northeast Event Design for our wedding and could not have been happier with their services. Greg was super professional, took time to meet with us in advance and come up with the flow of the evening and what we wanted to celebrate our special day.

The dance floor was packed all night! The energy was amazing! He kept the crowd going with hit after hit. We have gotten so many compliments from our friends & family. The services we selected were: Wedding Ceremony music, wedding reception & Photo Booth. They added some extra special touches by creating a monogram with our names, location & date. The monogram was used at his booth, projected on the wall & at the bottom of the photo strips that our guests took home.

Phenomenal service, we wouldn’t have it any other way and would hire Greg & Northeast Event Design 100 more times! Michelle and Garrett

Hiring Greg was one of the best decisions we made. During the ceremony his sound system was perfect for our outdoor oceanfront wedding. His sound system (clear and great sound) and DJ skills left our dance floor packed for the whole night. He took our ideas and song choices and created an amazing atmosphere all night long. We asked him to make us a surprise dance mix last minute and he did so within 24 hours!!! It was absolutely AMAZING! The photo booth was a hit for all ages. We are so happy to have even more photos of an unforgettable night. The uplighting was flawless and added a lot to our venue!

We chose Northeast Event Design, specifically Greg, as our DJ for our wedding and we could not have been happier! Being able to pick and choose from his “menu” of options was amazing! Greg provided ceremony music, microphones for our officiant and readers, cocktail music, MC’d our reception, music for dinner and dancing, made us our own monogram to display on his DJ set up that also played music videos (music videos from the 90’s while the dance floor was full was AMAZING!), provided uplighting which made our venue even more beautiful and fun, and provided our photo booth and all the props! Our guests danced the night away and raved about Greg’s ability to read the crowd and keep everyone dancing, even my husband’s 92 year-old grandmother was out on the dance floor! Greg is professional but fun, so it’s like hanging out with a friend but also knowing you’re going to get the best of the best when it comes to your special day. It definitely took a lot of stress off our plates knowing we had Greg and Northeast Event Design there! I don’t believe in cookie-cutter and I don’t believe in putting your event in the same box as others. For this reason I do not offer predetermined packages. All events are designed around your vision and specific needs. I encourage you to be unique and I encourage you to consider all of your options.

As you research entertainment companies it is important to ask detailed questions.  Ask for photos. Ask for videos. Schedule an appointment or a conference call. Make sure you are confident in the abilities of the company you hire and make sure you are comfortable with the personality of the person you are working with. Other companies may claim to offer similar services but as you research you will see firsthand there is a difference. You will also find that pricing can vary greatly within the entertainment industry. Like anything you purchase there are many factors that impact price. Quality of service, years of experience and investment into technology are key factors when reviewing prices.

There are plenty of high volume, discount price agencies out there to choose from. However, my belief is that special events are just that: special. Not run of the mill. Not average. My philosophy is to invest my time, energy and resources into offering exceptional services for clients that appreciate and expect the best. I’ve outlined my most popular services below with pricing for you to review. For Saturday events May through October there is a package minimum of $2,250 with an average investment between $2,500 and $3,000. Sunday through Friday dates (with the exception of Holiday Weekends) receive 10% off when using two or more services. Depending on your event location, all events may be subject to travel fees.

If you want to set your event apart from anything you’ve seen in the past, I have extended a $1,000 discount on my Signature Event experience. This combination of services will have your guests talking about your party long after the last song is played.  After reviewing all of the information on this page, I ask that you email me a list of services you are most interested in. I do my best to offer additional value for everyone utilizing my services. Please contact me directly with any questions or to discuss putting a detailed proposal together for review.

Additional enhancements are available and quoted based on your event needs. Enhancements include: additional intelligent lighting, additional multimedia screens, animated monograms, glow necklaces, glow tubes, special effects, custom photo booth backdrops and video creation.
